White Cane Fundraiser Was A Success

The Coral Springs Downtown Lions Club would like to thank everyone who donated to the White Cane collection. The funds raised will be used to help fund programs that will benefit eye research and blind charities. The group would like to extend gratitude to Ali Lahkani owner and all the staff of the Dunkin Donuts located at 1146 University Drive, Coral Springs, which allowed the group to ask for donations in front of the store. The event raised about $200.

Please be on the lookout for the Lions Club throughout the community. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. The Lions would like to also thank Lion Theresa Sadowski for her efforts in organizing the event and all of the other members who participated.
