Park Trails Hosts Book Fair
For School In Need

Park Trails Elementary School in Parkland recently hosted a spring book fair.

During the fair, children and parents donated loose change to benefit a school in need.

At the end of week, the money along with a book bonus from Scholastic was donated to Larkdale Elementary School in Fort Lauderdale.

This is a school with a library in tremendous need of new books.

The local school was able to donate about $3,500 in new books thanks to Park Trails Elementary families and Media Specialist Kim McCarthy.
